New Online Initiative - In/Sight

CEG has launched a new online initiative with the purpose of providing The Chicago Project artists additional exposure. We are excited to introduce In/Sight, a series of micro-exhibitions on our website that gives insight into a selection of works by The Chicago Project photographers. For our inaugural In/Sight exhibition, we present Interior + Exterior, featuring the work of Jim Ferguson, Angie McMonigal, Brad Pogatetz, and Samantha VanDeman.

Place in the Sun, featuring work by scott b. davis, opens Nov. 6, 2020

Catherine Edelman Gallery is pleased to present Place in the Sun, our first exhibition of works by scott b. davis. The show opens November 6 and runs through December 31, 2020. There will be an opening reception on Friday, November 6, from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Acquires Work by Clarissa Bonet!

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston has recently acquired a piece by Clarissa Bonet! The piece, titled "SL.2016.0215 NYC, 2016," is part of the artist's series Stray Light, an ongoing project that captures the nocturnal urban landscape. Carefully constructing each image from multiple photographs, Bonet reforms the urban landscape in her own vision.

Please join us for Photo London Digital, the first international photography fair online. The Fair will run from 7–18 October 2020, with two preview days on October 5 and 6. We are pleased to showcase the work of Rubén Martín de Lucas, Liat Elbling, Michael Koerner, Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison, Francesco Pergolesi, and Gregory Scott. You can view the artwork virtually on our website and on Artsy. CEG will also be hosting various Instagram Live events throughout the run of the fair!

EXPO CHICAGO Exhibition Weekend + West Town Art Walk

We’re thrilled to participate in EXPO CHICAGO'S EXHIBITION Weekend, an online showcase of Chicago-based exhibitions, galleries, and institutions, highlighted by virtual tours and programming this September 25–27. During EXHIBITION Weekend will also be the West Town Art Walk 2020, which will be a hybrid event, with virtual and in-person elements. Join us for a weekend full of art!
