Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Art Speaks on Saturday, February 8! Special thanks to the writers who participated, including Susan Aurinko, Araxie Cass, Lorraine Harrell, Riva Lehrer, Abena Motaboli, and Katy Scrogin. We had a huge crowd and the energy was fantastic!

Art Speaks is a new initiative that takes place on the second Saturday of every month, inviting local writers and poets to read pieces they have written based on the theme present in the exhibition on view. Our goal is to encourage and stimulate creative expression in an interdisciplinary setting, offering an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate and form connections. The works being read range from poetry to fiction, experimental to narrative.

We look forward to the next Art Speaks, which will be on Saturday, March 14 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. The theme for this reading is ecosystems
