Patricia Voulgaris March 13 — July 2, 2020

The spaces in-between, the distance between you and I, spatial awareness; how does the body interact within a limited space? The creator is subject to a fixed boundary that constructs a barrier between body and object. Can the two coexist harmoniously?

We create space physically and subconsciously, both actions are dictated by the body. We consume, fill, and bury every inch. Occasionally, we purposely create spaces between one another, fleeting from a feeling that we no longer choose to acknowledge. The spaces that we once held are soon replaced and occupied with a new placeholder. As time passes, we reflect on the spaces that we once inhabited. Our memories won't let us forget.

This body is yours to keep, a tender memento that will claw and bury its way into a space that you call home.
