Light denotes emotion; it heightens positive events and brings mortification to the events that most wish they could forget. This body of work speaks to those disturbances and uncomfortable happenings that occur in the apartment: a temporary and ephemeral dwelling. The fear and paranoia that accompanies new spaces is evident in each image as the viewer sees the imagery through the worst case scenario: a stalker’s eyes.

Using light and shadows, these images showcase the subject’s greatest fears and situations that are tense with negative possibility. As the voyeur, viewer’s are invited to look upon these scenes that cannot directly describe whether or not an event of terror has already occurred, or if the worst is yet to come. The narratives are separate from each other, but over the course of this series, begin to blur together into one intruder’s vision.
