The META PROJECT is a photographic project that combines my memories and understandings of the past and recreates them as striking staged realities. The project addresses the difficulties that I have coped with in the past and the present such as the feeling of isolation and the emotions of being trapped. The photographs also symbolize the struggles that I have witnessed in the people around me. I take these emotions and struggles then recreate them as theatrical events to show the troubles of not only myself but society. These scenes that I construct become mental prisons in which the people are encased only to see the possibility of freedom through the light.
